I love Indians.

Just some pictures I've gathered recently. I love posting things like this, it's quick, but still so amazing! All ya gotta do is look at the pictures! Easy!

"The Joy of Life" by Matisse.
Notice that they're all naked, and its called the JOY of LIFE. So, is the joy of life to be naked? Hmm...

Its summer, and i get distracted easily.

Haven't been really "inspired" lately. So I did what any smarty pants would do right? I bought a boat load of books. They should be here fairly soon. I'm very excited to read them! Heres what I ordered, now its coming from straight memory so give me some slack!

Chanel book. I believe that it has looks from 1946 to the present. Very excited to see the pictures!

Antique Jewelry. The cover looked pretty so I had to get it.

more sketch books and a new set of colored pencils, and there actually legit this time I didn't find them inside a pencil case in my dining room. haha!

and last but kind of least because they have nothing to do with fashion or designing what so ever, two books from meg cabots series "airhead". Don't know if any of you have read it but they seem pretty interesting to me and it's been a while since i read a book that i haven't already read. Ya dig?

Lets hope these books get here asap!

Spikes and what not, remember?! You do remember, don't you?!

Remember when I said i'd show you sketches with spikes, because, I don't know why, but I just love spikes. I don't know why?! Okay? But they're great right? They can be used as weapons, or...ideas for jewelry! and shoes! Now stop reading and look!

Ok so, this is a suede belt with spikes on the belt. The elephant belt buckle would be gold and have black onyx eyes.

These are all necklaces, and two pairs of shoes. Oh and a belt!

Chanel Spring Couture 2010

Before I go on about this, sorry for the delay in posts! I went to my moms for a week and there was absolutely no internet there what so ever! It was aggravating but also relaxing at the same time. Now! On to talk about the loveliness that is the Chanel Spring Couture 2010! And why am I doing spring 2010 instead of F/W 2010? Because frankly, well, I dislike the Chanel Fall Couture 2010. I'm just not fond of tweed and fur boots...together. The clothes just weren't my kinda thing. I can't help it if designers make such adorable spring lines that I must blog about!

This, however, is beautiful! The second, third, and fourth outfits are so gorgeous. The silky fabric makes it look like their outfits are blowing in the wind. Even though there not! The one in the middle, at least the top part resembles Lady Gaga. Who I might actually go see this Saturday! That's going to be something else entirely to write about!

This dress is very beautiful, it looks all goddess-y like and just magical. Good job Karl Lagerfeld!

Rodarte Spring 2010

Yes I know Spring 2010 has already come and gone but I haven't talked about Rodartes Spring 2010 Fashion show! Have you seen it? I think its ok to blog about it way after its already happened.
I love everything about Rodarte Spring 2010. Literally. These models look gorgeous, every outfit was perfect and each one seemed unique and original. You know if I had the entire spring 2010 collection I would never wear anything else! That would just be what I wore all the time, like those cartoon characters that never change outfits, they always wear the same thing. That's what I would be like in these clothes.

and now the shoes...

Please, just take a loooong look at the details of this shoe. It goes back to my reason on why I love shoes so much. There like little minitature works of art for your feet, and fun to collect. I love the spikes on the back of the heel. Thats probably my favorite part. I've incorporated spikes into a lot of what I design, but i'll show that in a different post!
